After both finding ourselves in Fitzroy’s Louis cafe at separate moments, we felt a serendipitous pull to ‘play’ inside this charming-industrial space.

Driven by a feeling of whimsical romance, we wanted to push boundaries and try something different to what we normally do. For Brooke this meant photographing in a dark and moody space, verses the sunny central coast. While for Steph it meant re-imagining and finding a new way to fall in love with the classic “green and white” colour palette - which she normally despises!

Together with Brooke, it never feels like a styled shoot, it’s always an art experiment. We simply come together to engage in creative play, bring no expectations and see what happens. It’s always a joy, fun, and well, a little self indulgent!
