Ever since visiting this location, I could see something dramatic and beautiful happening, so it was just a matter or time and circumstances aligning. 

There seems to be a pattern here, but the minute restrictions were lifted, we planned for a shoot and road trip to the Mornington. Together with the lovely Brooke and Holly Butler’s Daisy design in tow, we sought after the perfect cliff edge shoot. 

Desert and sea was the colour palette behind this shoot, where toffee, sand and blues guided the floral selection to reflect the natural landscape.

PART ONE: MORNINGTON 
With the best intentions, the ferocious, antarctic winds sadly cut our shoot a little earlier than expected, but even in these extremes, beauty was born.

PART TWO BAY SIDE
Our second location was all that we dreamed of. Nature graciously gave us a stunning sunset, warmth and next to no wind here. We were determined to give Holly’s Daisy gown all the glory she deserved, and had the best time doing so!

One thing we certainly learnt from these shoots, was to lean into the unknown mysteries and power of nature. She certainly made us uncomfortable, but graciously gifted us a sunset of dreams.
