Not only a super stylish and fun loving pair, Phil and Allanah are good friends of ours. We had the honour to witness how they took on every obstacle that came their way with bravery, patience and faith! We were so glad to be apart of their day, and to see how their dream day was only a snippet of their future together!
From our first meeting with Phil and Allanah, we knew their Palm Beach wedding in Sydney would be a paradise to create! They gave us full autonomy and trust to create something that would reflect them, compliment their surrounds and a piece of our own design heart! Sadly these plans didn’t come into fruition due to COVID, so the couple went back to the drawing board and opted for their Hollywood glam inspired wedding inside Rupert on Rupert.
Inside the industrial warehouse, luscious greenery cascades from ceiling to the floor, and vintage finishes make for a modern, yet old world statement. Being a relatively dim space, we knew we just had to infuse colour to contrast the heavy greenery, and use a palette that spoke back to the gorgeous wallpapers and furnishings. Blush pink, toffee, Burgundy and our favourite Nina orange was the star of the show here! A luscious array of roses, orchids, anthuriums, disbuds and dark greenery made a stand out scene from ceremony to reception here.
We love working with Phil and Allanah - where the couple involved us in many other design aspects for the day. Our favourite detail was of course attaching Allanah's mums earrings to her bouquet as something 'borrowed.' We loved the personal meaning and sentiment behind this.
