BOTANICAL SESSIONS

This is a story of a long time dream come true. From the very first time I met Brooke, I knew something was special about her, and I don’t just mean her incredibly beautiful photography, something beneath that. Brooke’s work wells out of her divine lead heart. 

Over time our friendship naturally grew as we regularly met up for some ‘creative play.’ A term that Brooke introduced to us, and has made home in our business ever since. It must have been one of our first 3 shoots together when we came across something magic, something sacred. We invited a friend and realised the transformational power of flowers, photography and a safe place for women to show up just as they are. Vulnerable and completely beautiful, now. 

From this sacred encounter, it took an entire 3 years, a world wide pandemic and a move interstate for us to finally set the Botanical Sessions in motion. All in perfect timing. Our Melbourne and Newcastle tour was a dream, where we welcomed women from all walks of life, in all stages of womanhood. 

When this first day ended, it was hard to believe how lucky we were to witness the truest essence of their femininity come to life, and for that we are so incredibly grateful. At one moment, goosebumps and tears met us both when one soul shared “I can see myself as an elderly lady, looking at these images and seeing how beautiful I am.” This was a moment we will never forget and cannot wait for what the future holds for our next Botanical Sessions.
